This my first cache in a series (can be done as Cache and Dash) that will run in loop from Weston Underwood round to Ravenstone and back please let me know if you believe the rating is wrong or anything can be done to improve the cache. It may well require sleath to retrieve this cache as the muggles can be quite inquisitive and it can be fairly busy during commuter hours, please leave the cache as you found it and let know if maintenance is required.
The Village Green is opposite the only pub in the village named after the poet William Cowper (pronounced Cooper). The village itself is one of the best kept villages in Buckinghamshire and is stunning. Located near to the traditional market town of Olney .
William Cowper, poet, translator of Homer and one of England's great letter writers. Cowper moved from Olney to Weston Underwood in November 1786 as a resident guest of the Throckmorton family, and stayed with them until a few years before his death. The house is now known as Cowper's Lodge and is situated in the High Street near the village green.
