The posted coordinates are just a suggestion for parking. Anywhere you can find within a block or two is fine. It's tough sometimes in Old Town. There are several structures on Fair Oaks and one on Delacey.
Welcome to the Pasadena Public Art Walks. If you like, you can spend the whole day exploring the sculptures, mosaics, murals and metalcraft art of Pasadena.
What's better than a stroll around one of the West Coast's most historic cities and some geocaching? Pasadena has a lot of amazing public art, and I have curated what I think are the most beautiful or most interesting pieces and designed this tour for you. Depending on how long you savor Christensen Alley's epic mural, this tour will probably take you about 30-45 minutes, and is the perfect lead-in to Pasadena Public Art Walk 2. All six of the art walks may be accessed here:
Pasadena Public Art Walk 1: Old Town Alleys
Pasadena Public Art Walk 2: Raymond & Holly
Pasadena Public Art Walk 3: City Hall
Pasadena Public Art Walk 4: Green & Delacey
Pasadena Public Art Walk 5: Central Park
Pasadena Public Art Walk 6: Lake Avenue
Locations are accessible during daylight hours seven days a week. My apologies that Old Pasadena is so saturated with caches that most of the finals of these art walks are tiny containers in rather mundane locations. Really, the art is the point here, and hey, a smiley is a smiley.
Each stage you visit will provide another coordinate or two to get you to the final. Read each stage note below to see which letter you are solving for to complete this: N 34 A.BCD W 118 E.FGH.
