The Geocaching Association of Great Britain (GAGB)
2pm until 5:30pm at the Village Hall in Keyworth.
The GAGB are building on our successful Roving Events series, and welcome you from near and far to our new "Start the Year" event. This event is not a trade fayre - instead it's packed with useful things for all types of geocachers.
- We'll have a makers' workshop - helping you to make interesting cache containers, and from experience that'll include some people asking others to make things for them! We'll play matchmaker and provide some of the equipment to help that.
- We'll have advice and guidance on how to solve puzzles and ciphers, and how to find disguised caches. We've got plenty of samples for you to get your handle on and workout what to do.
- We'll have information on the three Mega events in the UK in 2019, and we're inviting any other 'significant' event organisers to come along too. Let's see if we can help you plan your "stay-cations"!
- But also, we'll have info on other significant events around Europe or elsewhere - this is a great event to come meet up with fellow travellers and align plans.
- The location is great for geocaching - if you are new to the area why not make a full day or a weekend of it?
There is plenty of free parking at the site. For more details on our plans and advice on accommodation, head over to the GAGB website.
