Tato cache vás zavede na místo, které je jedinečné nejen svou polohou, přírodou, historií, jaderným výzkumem v místním ÚJV, ale také spolkem nadšenců, kteří se aktivně věnují hře KUBB, konkrétně tým Husinec KUBB. Věnujeme proto naší cache právě této hře.
Kubb je stará, údajně vikingská venkovní společenská hra pro dvě družstva o 1 až 6 členech.
Slovo kubb má v gotlandském nářečí švédštiny význam dřevěná kostka.
Historie této hry je poněkud nejistá. Každopádně existují záznamy o tom, že tato hra byla ve Švédsku hrána již na počátku 20. století. Komerční herní soupravy se začaly vyrábět až v roce 1990 a teprve od té doby se hra stává velmi populární a začíná se významně šířit.
Od roku 1995 se na ostrově Gotland každoročně pořádá mistrovství světa.
První mistrovství ČR (3 a více hráčů) se uskutečnilo v Praze ve Žlutých lázních v roce 2007.

This cache takes you to a place that is unique by its location, nature and history. It's also special because of a group of enthusiasts who are actively engaged in KUBB game, specifically the Husinec KUBB team. This cache is dedicated to that unusual game.
Kubb is an old, allegedly Viking outdoor community game for two teams of 1 to 6 members.
The word kubb has a wooden cube in the gotland dialect of Swedish.
The history of this game is somewhat uncertain. In any case, there are records that this game was played in Sweden at the beginning of the 20th century. The commercial gaming kits began to be produced in 1990 and only after that time the game has become very popular and has begun to spread significantly.
Since 1995, the World Championship has been held on Gotland Island every year.
The first Czech Championship (three or more players) took place in Prague in 2007 in Žluté lázně.
