Geocache Description:

Bigfoot isn’t lost, he’s geocaching! This cache was originally placed in conjunction with the 2018 Friends of Hudson Parks “Hike Hudson - In Search of Bigfoot” fall hiking program.

At Maple Grove Park there is a looping trail, approximately one mile long, looping through the wooded area. To go to stage one you can head either direction from the parking area (see listed waypoint). For the final you will be off trail, so dress appropriately. A waypoint is provided for a good location to leave the trail. This waypoint may also prove helpful in finding your way back to the trail! NO NIGHT CACHING!

At stage one you are looking for a small sign. Use the info from the sign to determine the coordinates for the final. Stay on the trail on the way to the final until you get to the bench at the listed waypoints. Then if you dare, head into the woods for your quest for Bigfoot. This is where Bigfoot lives, so please leave him there!

A = the number of "A's" on the sign

B = the number of letters on the sign minus 1

C = the total number of vowels in BIGFOOT and on the sign

D = the number of consonants on the sign
