FSC-2018 IS COMING!
This will be the 10th year for this annual First State Challenge sponsored by Delaware Geocachers!


LAUNCH DATE for the CACHES is Saturday September 22, 2018.

CELEBRATION EVENT WILL BE 6 WEEKS LATER ON NOVEMBER 3, 2018.

This event is open to all Geocachers regardless of whether or not they found any FSC-2018 caches. We hope to see everyone there.

Time: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Place: Stargate Diner
23415 Sussex Sussex Highway
Seaford DE

We will be in the back room.

Order any food items you want from their menu. Separate checks will be given.

Please log a "will attend" log and include how many are in your party. This will help us plan with the restaurant.

This year we will have a "Chinese auction" at the event.

FSC-2018 GEOTRAIL


For FSC-2018 there will be 10 new gadget-type caches spread across the state of Delaware hidden by volunteer cachers.

FSC-2018 Rules


1. FSC-2018 will begin on September 22, 2018.

2. You must find and log ALL 10 FSC-2018 caches to complete the challenge.

3. Cache logs must be signed with geocaching.com names (NO ad hoc team names).

4. Record the codeword found at each hide.

5. There is a downloadable FSC-2018 Cache Form found on www.geocachingde.com: FSC 2018 Cache Form

6. Use of the FSC-2018 Cache Form is NOT mandatory, but all of the information on it must be submitted. (Your name, geocaching name, GC number, cache name & corresponding code.)

7. Send your completed list of FSC-2018 Cache Form info to FirstStateChallenge@aol.com.

8. Subject line of email MUST include your caching name and “FSC-2018 Cache Form”.

9. Each cacher must submit their info individually. (NO combined forms!)

10. Each cacher must submit their own FSC-2018 completion info (so we can email if any problems).

11. Required info MUST be received by Wednesday October 31, 2018 at 8PM. NO forms can be accepted after this time.

12. GC7VY3E FSC-2018 Celebration Event held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 1 PM to 3 PM in Seaford. The event is open to all cachers whether or not they have found any of the FSC-2018 Caches.

13. At the FSC-2018 Celebration Event , those cachers that have been verified as completing the FSC-2018 challenge will be eligible for a Completion Certificate. (If you can’t attend please have someone pick up your certificate…….NO certificates will be mailed.)

14. Cachers that complete the FSC-2018 Challenge AND attend the FSC-2018 Celebration Event will be eligible for a special token.

15. Special tokens may be limited to the first 100 cachers who complete the challenge AND attend the FSC-2018 Celebration Event.
