Voici notre première géocache, dans le quartier de la Faïencerie que nous connaissons bien.
Le célèbre céramiste et faïencier Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat (1844-1910) s'installe à Bourg-la-Reine en 1890 et y débute sa production de grès.
La collection, exposée dans la maison où il vécut, présente 120 oeuvres. Elle permet aux visiteurs de découvrir la vie de l'artiste, les influences de l'Art nouveau sur son oeuvre, l'inventivité des formes, et la mise au point du fameux " rouge Dalpayrat " qui fait sa renommée internationale. Vous pouvez traverser la rue pour admirer la maison d'inspiration normande décorée de faïence.
Il faudra vous armer de patience pour voir ces jolis vases : le musée n'est ouvert que le 3ème samedi du mois (et pas en juillet et aout) de 10h à 12h et de 14h à 17h
