Geocache Description:

Kaena Point CITO

Help clean this special area.

This CITO will include a short talk from a Kaena Point Educational Specialist about the history, flora and fauna of the area. Following the talk we will receive directions for our service. ( this will include picking up trash and maybe paint over grafitti on the light house). Supplies provided.

Meet at the parking coordinates ready to head to the point by 8:30am. We will try to transport as many people as possible to the Point in 4x4 vehicles. * Vehicles must have a permit to enter the area. If you choose to walk or bike to the Point keep in mind it is 3 miles each way.

Time: 8:30 - about 11:30am

Once done you are free to enjoy the area, cache or return the way we came.

Important things to know:

Bring at least a liter of water
Wear sunscreen as the area is exposed with NO shade
Dogs are not allowed
Wear shoes for walking over rocks

Finally.... To get a count and know who can help transport people please let me know the number coming and if you can help with transportation and how many people you can take.
