Description
Ce “Logis porche”, construit au début du XIVe siècle était le siège de la Seigneurie de Taden. Cet édifice est rare exemple de cette époque en Bretagne, est orné de plusieurs cheminées, d’une tour renfermant un escalier à vis et surmontée d’une échauguette. Outre la présence de hourds, le manoir tire sa spécificité du fait de l'existence à l'origine, d'une salle haute à charpente apparente que surplombe une tribune. Il est classé Monument Historique en 1993.

This "Logis porche", built in the early fourteenth century was the seat of the Lordship of Taden. This building is rare example of this time in Britain, is decorated with several chimneys, a tower containing a spiral staircase and surmounted by a watchtower. In addition to the presence of hoardings, the manor draws its specificity because of the existence at the origin, of a high room with apparent framework which overhangs a tribune. It is classified Historical Monument in 1993.
