It's WAY TOO HOT to go geocaching in July, right? Too much poison ivy, too many mosquitoes, and not enough reasons to get out in the southern heat and humidity to find another LPC in a parking lot where it's 110 degrees in the shade. What to do, what to do,,,?
Well, COME ON DOWN to DreamChasers Brewery in Waxhaw on Sunday July 22nd from 3-6pm and log a vauble event cache while swapping stories and giving advice on how to beat the heat, preferably with a few cold ones to keep hydrated.
Things you WILL exerience: Fun, the opportunity to make new caching buddies (when it gets cooler), engaging conversation, and the chance to swap stories with fellow geocachers.
Things you won't experience: Swarms of mosquitoes, fire ants, 137 degree temps, and sunburn on that place that you should never, ever have exposed to the sun.
So grab your GPS, kids, dogs, and wombats, and head down for our semi-regular gathering of liars, storytellers, adventure-seekers, rogues, and all-around great geocachers and experience a few cold ones while waiting for it to drop below 70 degrees. It's only 2-3 months away, right? RIGHT? (sigh)
