Žlutý dům u dvojitého mostu.
Byli jsme na dovolené v České republice asi 20 let. To proto, že se nám tu opravdu líbí. Je to krásná země s krásnou přírodou, kulturou a spoustou historie. A samozřejmě spoustou keší. Je to opravdu "geocache country par excellence". První cache, kterou jsme kdy našli, byla také v České republice. Jedná se o trutnovskou keš: https://coord.info/GCY2KP, kterou jsme odlovili dne 29. června 2009, a lze ji odlovit ještě dnes.
Most byl postaven mezi lety 1867 a 1869 a byl tehdy nejvyšším mostem železnice Jižní a severní Německa (SNDVB). Samotný most je 24 metrů vysoký a 28 metrů široký. Původně to byl jediný most, ale pro přizpůsobení se obrovskému bočnímu napětí bylo později postaveno druhé viadukt.
Něco ke keši: Samotná keš je jednoduchá a je magnetická. Majitelé o keši vědí, navíc budou zajišťovat její údržbu, za což ji moc děkujeme.

De Vectraatjes komen al circa 20 jaar in Tsjechie. Dat zegt wel iets over hoe ze het daar naar hun zin hebben. Het is een schitterend land met mooie natuur, cultuur en veel historie. En natuurlijk heel veel caches want het is echt een geocache-land bij uitstek. De eerste cache die de Vectraatjes zelf ooit gevonden hebben was zelfs in Tsjechie. Het is de cache Trutnov! https://coord.info/GCY2KP die op 29 juni 2009 werd gevonden, en ook nu nog steeds actief gevonden kan worden.
De Vectraatjes logeren de laatste 10 jaar steevast op het zelfde adres bij hun famieleden Jan&Lies die naar Tsjechie verhuisd zijn en daar een prachtig geel huis hebben onder de dubbele spoorbrug in het plaatsje Bernartice aan de voet van het Reuzengebergte in de region Trutnov.
Tijd dus voor een tribute cache. De cache zelf is een eenvoudige stash die met behulp van een magneet tevoorschijn getoverd kan worden. Ondertussen heb je de gelegenheid om ons vakantieadres te bekijken en de inmiddels werkelijk schitterend gerestaureerde dubbele brug.
De brug is gebouwd tussen 1867 en 1869 en was in die tijd de hoogste viaduct van de Zuid-Noord Duitse Spoorbaan (SNDVB) De brug zelf is 24 meter hoog en 28 meter breed. Oorspronkelijk was het een enkele brug, maar om de enorme zijwaartse spanningen op te vangen werd er later een tweede viaduct onder gebouwd.
De cache ligt op het terrein van Jan&Lies, die daarvoor hun toestemming hebben gegeven, maar om de cache zelf te vinden hoef je niet verder op het terrein van onze familie te komen, of te wel, je hoeft de brug niet over om de cache te vinden.
Natuurlijk zijn wij niet het hele jaar in Tsjechie, dus op de momenten dat er onderhoud gepleegd moet worden komen Jan&Lies in actie waarvoor onze grote dank!!

We have been on holiday in the Czech Republic for about 20 years. That is because they really enjoy it. It is a beautiful country with beautiful nature, culture and a lot of history. And of course a lot of caches! It’s really a “geocache country par excellence”.
The first cache ever found by ourselves was even in the Czech Republic. It is the Trutnov cache! https://coord.info/GCY2KP that was found on June 29, 2009, and can still be found today.

The bridge was built between 1867 and 1869 and was at that time the highest bridge of the South-North German Railway (SNDVB). The bridge itself is 24 meters high and 28 meters wide. Originally it was a single bridge, but to accommodate the enormous lateral tensions, a second viaduct was built later.
The cache is on the premises of Jan & Lies, who have given their permission for this, but to find the cache itself you do not have to cross the bridge and go further on the property of our family. Of course we are not in Czech allover the year, so at the times when maintenance has to be done, Jan & Lies come into action for which our big thanks !! Enjoy the cache!
