It is time for redemption!!!!

"A Hollow Horse Trail" (cache) was hidden on April 9, 2005 and remains one of the oldest active caches in Genesee County. Lately it has been getting a bad rap for being in a rough area and hasn't been found in almost two full years! Several geocachers, myself included, have put it on their ignore list as we've deemed it unsafe. Well, it has been on my list for far too long (since 2012!!!), so I am hosting an event to finally turn that frown upside down!!! (And finally get a smiley yellow face, instead of that dreaded blue one.) If you have been wanting to get this oldie (visit link) join us for the fun.

Parking is at the coordinates provided. We will gather there at 10:00 a.m., will visit until 10:30 or so, and then for those who want to, we'll make the short walk to the Hollow Horse as a group. (It is not necessary for you to walk with us to GZ to claim the event smiley.) So if this oldie is on your "to do" list, or even on your ignore list and you want it off of there, this would be your best opportunity. Hope to see you there!
