Some would claim that all of Inderøy is idyllic, but the area around this cache is particularily quiet. Well maintained farm houses are scattered in sight and not far from the cache is one of the many local initiatives that has become a signature for this area - a small brewery using local harvests for their products. The cache is hidden near farm lands and one can often see animals sleeping in the summer sun around here.
Golden Caches
Inderøy is a municipality in Trøndelag. Inderøy has almost 7000 inhabitants. Farming, construction, food processing and tourism are the largest sources for employment. Inderøy literally means "The Inner Island" but is, in fact, a peninsula. It is known to be picturesque and has several beautiful farms. One of the old roads, or routes, that leads you through Inderøy is often referred to as "The Golden Road/detour" (Den Gyldne Omvei in Norwegian). Sights, hiking trails, beautiful old and maintained farms and businesses that accommodate travellers are visible from the route today. In June 2018 nine caches were placed alongside this route.
