Twentse landschap

Het Twentse landschap is adembenemend mooi. Van uniek natuurgebied tot uitgestrekt veengebied. Terug in de tijd; ooit wandelden hier de mammoet, de wolharige neushoorn en het laatste reuzenhert. Sterker nog, ooit was dit gebied zee, getuige de walvis- en haaientanden die af en toe nog gevonden worden. Nu is het unieke Twentse land een bonte verzameling van bijzondere landschapselementen. Zin in bos, heide, weide, beekjes en bronnen? Twente heeft het allemaal!

The Twente landscape is breathtakingly beautiful. From unique nature reserve to extensive peat areas. Back in time; the mammoth, the woolly rhinoceros and the last giant deer even walked here. In fact, once this area was sea, witness the whale and shark teeth that are still found here today. Now the unique Twente country is a colorful collection of special landscape elements. Forest, heath, meadow, streams and springs. Twente has it all!

St. Jozefkerk

Herintroductie van deze mooie locatie. De locatie Sint Jozef is de meest Noord-oostelijke RK-kerk van Almelo en staat op de hoek van de Sint Josephstraat en de Sluitersveldsingel, de uitvalsweg van Almelo naar Albergen en Mariaparochie. In principe is er elke zaterdagavond om 19.00 uur en elke dinsdagavond om 19.00 uur (in de dagkapel), een Eucharistieviering. De St. Jozeflocatie maakt, samen met de Centrumlocatie St. Georgius en de Westelijke locatie Heilige Paulus, deel uit van de RK-parochie Sint Joris, die per 2010 een feit is. De St. Jozeflocatie heeft een eigen Locatieraad en kent een groot aantal vrijwilligersgroepen. Zo'n 300 mensen zijn op allerlei gebied actief binnen een gemeenschap, die vooral het Sluitersveld en de Schelfhorst bestrijkt.

De cache is opgezet als een kleine multi. Op het terrein van de kerk bezoek je een aantal punten en op deze punten vind je informatie die je nodig hebt om het eindpunt te kunnen bepalen.

Gelieve niet te parkeren op het terrein van de kerk!!

St. Jozef church

The location Sint Jozef is the most North-eastern Roman Catholic church of Almelo and is on the corner of the Sint Josephstraat and the Sluitersveldsingel, the exit road from Almelo to Albergen and Mariaparochie. There is a Eucharistic celebration every Saturday evening at 7:00 pm and every Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm. The St. Jozef location, together with the Center location St. Georgius and the Western location Saint Paul, is part of the Roman Catholic parish Sint Joris since 2010. The St. Jozef location has its own Location Board and has a large number of volunteer groups. Some 300 people are active in a variety of areas within a community, which mainly covers the Sluitersveld and the Schelfhorst.

The cache is set up as a small multi. On the church grounds you visit a number of points and on these points you will find information you need to determine the end point.

Please do not park on the grounds of the church !!
