Geocache Description:

On Tuesday June 12, a crane placed a 3D sculpture done by American artist Seward Johnson. This sculpture has moved around the US, and is home in Anamosa through spring 2019.

If you think the below sculpture looks familiar, perhaps you've seen it on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. It's also been in Mesa, Arizona, Key West Florida, and Elkhart, Indiana. Now, it's heading to Grant Wood's hometown, where it will be for the rest of the year. During that time, the city is also planning to highlight its Grant Wood collection and host a number of Grant Wood-themed programs. All great reasons to take a drive to Jones County to celebrate a very famous eastern Iowan and what the Whitney Museum of Art calls "perhaps the most recognizable painting in 20th-century American art."
