This cache is hidden not far from the Bay Trail in Scott Park. The name of the cache was taken from the beautiful mayapple plants that line the trail in the spring. The leaves of the mayapple look like tiny umbrellas for toads or mice, however the unripened fruit is toxic to humans.
The trail has many scenic views overlooking Presque Isle Bay and should be accessible year-round. We worked hard to camouflage the container, but it shouldn't be too hard to find. Be sure to take a homemade swag item with you!
