Fairies - These wee folk love nature. It is believed that for every tree and plant there is a fairy guarding it and helping it to grow.

In the Isle of Man they have "Fairy Bridge". Superstition is to greet the fairies (an English term for the Mooinjer Veggey ("Little People"); historically never called fairies or ferrish by the Manx, when crossing the bridge. It's considered unlucky to not greet them.
