You can park and access the trail at the same location, but parking spans about ½ mile in this section. It was busy when I came, so I parked about ¼ mile away and walked to the trail head. If it is not busy, you can park 10 feet from the trail head! This is off the trail a little bit, but should be pretty quick once you reach it.
