MVCC #50 -- Everybody Loves a Happy Ending Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

VPPlayer: What a wonderful four years this has been, and thank you everyone for your kind words. It was a difficult decision to end the series, but I do hope to fill the void somehow in the future, just not as frequently. So stay tuned!

Geocache Description:

This is the 50th and final Miami Valley Caching Conundrum before your humble CO goes on indefinite EPM Event Geo-sabbatical.

This puzzle-themed event is a combination of collaboration and socializing with your fellow cachers. Come meet-n-greet, and talk with other local cachers to share ideas, experiences, and upcoming adventures. If you need help, bring your GPS and/or questions. We have a strong geocaching puzzle community here in Dayton who are always willing to help and/or give nudges. Drop off, discover, and pick up trackables, but be sure to log them!

Bad news perhaps: no competition this time. We'll be doing something a little differently at this event if I can pull it off in time.  With FTF implications...

The good news is I am in the process of preparing a 5 star difficulty group solve, in which everyone in attendance will have an opportunity to contribute and qualify for a possible FTF!!!

In addition, we will be having a closeout sale: EVERYTHING MUST GO! We have bought many prizes along the way over the years, but they will all be given away. It will be along the lines of a 50/50 raffle but we will not be keeping any of the proceeds.

The event is normally 6:30pm to 9:30. I'm going to see if we can start this event early -- watch this page often for updates.

Note: Food purchase is not required. However, we MUST order off of the short menu in the Event Room. If you want anything else you will have to go into the main part of the restaurant to order and pick up.

Acknowledgements:

Over the years we're been fortunate to have gallaghd and aogagent1 occasionally create real puzzle caches (associated with the Conundrum theme) for the group to solve (and share FTF!) at many of the events so far, and CounselorTroi's awesome organizing and social management skills have been repeatedly tested every month, leaving her feeling slightly bedraggled at times, but she's somehow always able to herd the cats.  Thank you Kristi.

======================

Want to attempt the FTF? It's pretty simple, but will take a group effort. There will be a large number of sudoku-type sub-puzzles, some easy, some not-so-much. I'm not going to say any more, other than electronic means ARE allowed.
