This cache is hidden along the perimeter trail, behind the historic John Jay house that was the retirement home of Founding Father John Jay. At the trailhead coordinates, you will see two blazes: the Jay trail marker, and the BRLA marker. Locals know the latter stands for Bedford Riding Lanes Association, so you may encounter horses. The BRLA trails continue onto private property, but here they overlap with the public Jay trail.<br><br> If you have time, consider taking a tour of the Jay house.
