ETAPA 3 - VALE GLACIAR DA TERRA QUENTE – PORTAL DO INFERNO
Sem dúvida, a parte mais dura do dia. O ULTRA TRAIL faz o trilho em sentido contrário.
Saímos do Reino, pelas 11.30 horas, ainda percorremos algumas centenas de metros, mas já sabíamos que teríamos de subir algures…e subimos…mesmo.
Não vale a pena queixar. É fechar os olhos, morder os lábios e subir. É cerca de uma hora e meia a parar, a continuar e a olhar para ver quando acaba.
Chegamos ao topo.
E agora? É por aqui? É por ali?
A descida tem quase a mesma dureza da subida. Muita pedra solta.
Chegamos à estrada de alcatrão. Chegamos ao Concelho de Castro D`Aire, chegamos ao distrito de Viseu.
No topo da Montanha, o que se vê, é difícil de ser processado pelo cérebro, tal é a beleza.
Chegamos ao Portal do Inferno.
Aquele abraço do Clube das Sandes.

WORTH THE GLACIER OF THE HOT LAND - PORTAL OF HELL
Undoubtedly, the hardest part of the day. ULTRA TRAIL makes the track in the opposite direction.
We left the Kingdom at 11.30 a.m. we still traveled a few hundred meters, but we already knew that we would have to go up somewhere ... and we went up ... even.
Not worth complaining about. It is to close the eyes, to bite the lips and to rise. It's about an hour and a half hours to stop, to continue and to look to see when it's over.
We got to the top.
And now? This way? Is that over there?
The descent has almost the same hardness as the climb. Lots of loose rock.
We reached the tar road. We arrived at the Municipality of Castro D`Aire, we arrived at the district of Viseu.
At the top of the mountain, you see, it is difficult to be processed by the brain, such is the beauty.
We arrived at the Portal of Hell.
