A Really Cool Earthcache Idea I Found!

I Never Relised How Much Geology Was Actually Related To This!

Port Dover Is A Beautiful Town Along The Beach Of Lake Erie.

At GZ You Will See Miles And Miles Of Freshwater!

At GZ You Will Also See Lots Of Muggles!

So, Sand Has A lot of Different Colors. But Did You Ever Learn What Each Of These Particles Were Made Out Of?

There Are Many Types Of Sand Particles But The Most Common Are:

Calcium Carbonate: The Light White Particles Are Coming From Crushed Up Shells

Feldspar Or Quartz: Yellow, Sparkely Or White Grains, Often From Granite Rock

The Black Salts Would Come From Basalt And Other Volcanic Rocks!

Most Pebbles Or Rocks Have Washed Up From Storms And Waves!

Driftwood Is Peices Of Wood That Fell Into The Water, And Now Have Washed Up On Shore.

Logging Tasks:

1. Pick Up A Handful Of Sand And Look At The Particles, Which Do You See The Most Of
