L'énigme ...
Episode 12 de Voyage au centre de la Terre :
""... Hans Bjelke continuait d'ouvrir la voie, mais le boyau qu'il suivait se faisait de plus en plus étroit... A un moment, ils ne purent plus progresser, et se trouvaient devant un énorme mur de roches.
Bariolé de multiples couleurs, celui-ci semblait être composé d'une multitude de susbtrats, signe que les forces terrestres s'étaient concentrées à cet endroit et que les éléments géologiques issus du coeur de la Terre avaient finis par s'y concentrer.
"Oh non !" s'exclama Axel, l'air résigné, "C'est la fin pour nous, nous ne réussirons jamais à remonter à l'air libre, nous allons périr dans les entrailles de cette maudite Terre !".
"Allons mon garçon, un peu de sang froid", lui répondit le professeur Lidenbrock. "Gardons de notre sang froid et étudions cela de plus près...".
S'approchant de plus près, celui-ci observa avec minutie la paroi rocheuse sur toute sa longueur, munie de son couteau et d'un bout de verre qu'il avait tiré de sa besace, il se livra alors à un étrange balai, parfois grattant, parfois creusant et même une fois léchant la roche comme s'il s'agissait une bonne glace à l'italienne.
Il sortit enfin de sa poche un étrange parchemin, que lui avait remis jadis par son ami allemand Friedrich M., l'étudia avec attention et s'exclama :
"Hans, Alex, mes amis ! C'est ici qu'il faut nous mettre à l'oeuvre ! Sortez pelles et pioches et attaquons cette maudite paroi !".
Et en moins de temps qu'il n'en faut pour le dire, un passage fut dégagé et ils purent poursuivre leur ascension vers la surface. En partant, Alex se rendit compte que son oncle avait laissé par terre son précieux parchemin ; y jetant un coup d'oeil, il n'y compris goutte, mais trop heureux de leur bonne fortune, s'empressa de le ranger pour rattraper ses compagnons d'aventures.""...

And in less time than it takes to say, a passage was cleared and they could continue their ascent to the surface. As he left, Alex realized that his uncle had left his precious parchment on the ground; taking a look at it, not including gout, but too happy with their good fortune, hastened to put it away to catch up with his fellow adventurers.
