United Geocaching event: Pyramidenkogel 2018 Event Cache

Hello, welcome to the United Geocaching event. Today's world of the inhabitants of our planet is spreading, and geocaching is one of the ways to connect people. Our goal is to meet people of different nations at interesting places. In places of events, as we believe, there will be communication in many languages to create a joint photo and each of the pre-announced visitors will receive a special souvenir item. The meeting time will be approximately 30 minutes.

The meeting will take place on May 1 in 2:00pm - 2:30pm.

The meeting point is Pyramidenkogel

Pyramidenkogel is an 851-metre-high (2,792 ft) mountain in Carinthia, Austria. It is located to the south of the Wörthersee and near the town of Maria Wörth, in an area that is a boundary between speakers of German and Slovenian. In nearby Slovenia the mountain is known as Jedvovca. The mountain has been a tourist attraction since at least the late 19th century. The view from its top is mentioned in Karl Baedeker's 1879 The Eastern Alps. The new tower is built of wood and steel, and at a height of 100 metres it is the tallest wooden observation tower in the world. Architects Markus Klaura and Dietmar Kaden of Klagenfurt and structural engineer Markus Lackner of Villach have designed a structure which features a visitors platform at 83 metres, a cafe at 70 metres, and a 66-metre-long (217 ft) slide (the longest slide in Europe). The tower is PEFC-certified.

Hallo, willkommen bei der United Geocaching Veranstaltung. Die heutige Welt der Bewohner unseres Planeten breitet sich aus und Geocaching ist eine der Möglichkeiten, Menschen miteinander zu verbinden. Unser Ziel ist es, Menschen aus verschiedenen Nationen an interessanten Orten zu treffen. An Orten von Veranstaltungen, wie wir glauben, wird es eine Kommunikation in vielen Sprachen geben, um ein gemeinsames Foto zu schaffen und jeder der vorher angekündigten Besucher erhält einen besonderen Souvenirartikel. Die Besprechungszeit beträgt ca. 30 Minuten.

Das Treffen findet am 1. Mai von 14:00 bis 14:30 Uhr statt.

Der Treffpunkt ist der Pyramidenkogel

Der Pyramidenkogel ist ein 850 m ü. A. hoher Berg in Südkärnten, Österreich. 1950 wurde auf dem Pyramidenkogel ein 27 Meter hoher Aussichtsturm aus Holz errichtet.[5] Daneben wurde 1957 der Sender Pyramidenkogel gebaut. In den Jahren 1966 bis 1968 wurde der hölzerne Turm durch einen Aussichtsturm mit 54 Metern Höhe in Stahlbetonbauweise ersetzt. Da eine erforderliche Sanierung – Jahrzehnte später – zu teuer gewesen wäre, wurde ein Neubau geplant. Bei einem Architekturwettbewerb siegte der Entwurf des Klagenfurter Architekturbüros Markus Klaura und Dietmar Kaden und des Tragwerkplaners Markus Lackner mit einer etwa 100 Meter hohen, elegant geschwungenen Schraube aus Holz und Stahl. Nach sieben Jahren Planung wurde am 31. Oktober 2012 der Grundstein gelegt und am 20. Juni 2013 wurde die Anlage eröffnet. Das Basisgebäude mit Restaurant bildet ein Ensemble mit dem Turm. Der höchste Holzaussichtsturm der Welt ist ganzjährig geöffnet und enthält auch die höchste Gebäuderutsche Europas.

Dobrý den, vítejte na projektu United Geocaching event. Dnešní svět obyvatele naší planety spíše rozděluje a geocaching je jedním z možností, jak lidi opět spojit. Našim cílem je setkávání lidí různých národů u zajímavých míst. Na místech eventů, jak věříme, bude docházet ke komunikaci v mnoha jazycích, k vytvoření společné fotografie a každý z předem ohlášených návštěvníků dostane speciální upomínkový předmět. Doba setkání bude přibližně 30 minut.

Setkání bude probíhat 1. května od 14:00 do 14:30 hodin.

Místem setkání je Pyramidenkogel

Pyramidenkogel je rozhledna na vrcholu stejnojmenné hory Pyramidenkogel (851 m) nad Wörthersee, na území korutanské obce Keutschach am See v okrese Klagenfurt-venkov. Svou výškou 100 m je nejvyšší dřevěnou rozhlednou na světě. Stavba věže o celkové výšce 100 m a hmotnosti 800 t. Má spirálovitý tvar a skládá se ze 16 spirálovitě zakřivených lepených modřínových sloupů s profilem 32/144 cm. Sloupy jsou v 10 „patrech“ spojeny ocelovými prstenci. Nosnou konstrukci ještě zpevňují diagonální táhla z ocelových trubek, vedená od paty věže k její špičce. Věž má tři volně pochozí vyhlídkové plošiny a tzv. Sky Box – prostor uzavřený skleněnými okny. Na nejnižší vyhlídkovou rampu lze vyjet rychlovýtahem s prosklenou kabinou pro 16 osob, doba jízdy je necelých 30 s. Věž nese na špičce 18 m vysoký stožár s rozhlasovými vysílači pro celé Korutany. Kuriozitou je spirálovitě vedená 120 m dlouhá vnitřní skluzavka, po které mohou dolů odvážlivci sjíždět na zapůjčených podložkách do přízemí rychlostí až 25 km/h.
