The cache is not at the posted coordinates, these coordinates are for parking only.
I found my first cache here 15 years ago (GCA36B). It was archived shortly after I had found it. But since it was the start of this 15 year journey we know as geocaching, I decided to replace the cache by adding one of my own at the same spot.
This cache is located in a small township park in Denville, NJ. Although it’s a small park there is a wide range of terrain, from swampy to rocky trails. There are many trails running through this park, so please stay on the trails to avoid walking through swampy areas. The trick may be to find the right trail to get where you need to be. If you happen to walk past the old backstop, and through the overgrown baseball field, you are on the shortest route to the cache.
Please use the listed coordinates for parking. Even though you may see what looks like closer parking to the cache, you would have to cross private property to access the park from those locations.
OH, I guess some of you may be waiting for a puzzle, OK, here are the puzzles.
The coordinates are a little soft. Once you solve the puzzle, and get the green light from the geochecker, you need to add .004 to both the north and west coordinates. Due to the nature of the puzzle, I can't change the puzzle to correct the coords.
You can check your answers for this puzzle on GeoChecker.com.
