Meet at the public launch on Grace Road in Benzonia from 9-10am.
For those interested, we will kayak/canoe down the Betsie River. We plan to publish new kayak caches that day so there will be plenty of FTF opportunities.
We can coordinate vehicle staging that morning. I have a pickup and trailer that will hold 8 kayaks.
There is a waypoint for the takeout point. I have kayaked this section of river many times. It usually takes 2:45 to 3 hours (without caching stops).
We should all pack our own lunches to eat somewhere along the river. There are restroom facilities at put in and take out points.
Expect a group dinner in Frankfort after kayaking.
