Our first church micro, not particularly local to us but I often pass by with work.... To get to GZ drive thru the arch and there is a car park area close to the cache which is situated outside the church grounds. A simple geocache to find :)
You are looking for a screw-top micro. Please make sure that the lid isn't visible when you replace it.
This cache is placed outside of St. Cledwyn's church, situated on a hill above the village of Llangldwen.
St. Cledwyn's church is in the parish of Cilymaenllwyd, along with Cilymaellwy and Eglwys fair. It is said that the first building dated back to the 6th century, and since then it has played a big role in people's lives.
It is said that Cledwyn was the son of Brychan who was the King of Brycheiniog. Apparently this king had 40 children! Cledwyn was a fighter and he fought for his country.
This is the only church in the U.K. which has been consecrated to St. Cledwyn. The Church is mentioned in records in 1291.
