Geocache Description:


When:     May 1st, 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Where:     Fremont Brewing, 1050 N. 34th Street
Why:     There are countless reasons to catch up
 
  • my last visit to the US was 20 years ago. Back then, american beer was associated with rude jokes involving boats. I am told this is no longer the case and am really looking forward to catching up with the developments in the brewing industry
  • I have only met my fellow reviewers from Washington virtually (if at all), if they have time, I would hope to be able catch up with them in order to put faces to names and chat about our hobby
  • though I'll visit HQ on monday, I don't want to interrupt the lackeys and hamsters at work too much. I hope that some of them will attend this event so we can catch up when their chatting with me will not disrupt geocachers unduly
  • I'm a cacher and traveller and my last stay in the US was in the last millenium. I hope to catch up with local cachers to talk about our hobby, my travels and whatever else comes up
  • before arriving in Seattle, I'll have travelled all over Costa Rica with my family for several weeks. Caches there are few and far between, so in the US, I hope to catch up with some serious caching and am looking forward to any recommendations locals can make :-)
