Geocache Description:

This geocache is hidden in Plum Creek Park.  It's a great park in which to enjoy a walk through the woods.  Trails can be a bit sloppy at certain times of year or if there have been recent rains, so please wear appropriate footwear.  Bug spray is recommended during the summer months--  you have been warned!

Park hours are from dawn to dusk.  Please do not seek this geocache after dark.  Pets are permitted, but must be on leash.

As I walked the trails to scout out locations for geocaches, the woods were quiet, but then suddenly I heard hundreds, if not thousands of birds.  I wasn't able to see many of the birds high in the treetops, but their presence was unmistakable.  I stood there and listened to their calls for nearly 15 minutes.  Every so often, the woods would go silent for several seconds, but then they'd start up again.

i don't know what kind of birds they were, but I think they probably were starlings.  Here's an interesting tidbit of information--  a flock of starlings flying in twisting, whirling formations is called a murmuration.  You can see a cool video of this phenomenon online by clicking here.

You are looking for a lock n lock type container covered with camouflage tape.  There is room for SWAG and trackables inside, but make sure the container can be closed securely before you leave.  And please bring a pen with you to sign the log.

This geocache is placed with the permission of the Medina County Parks--  Permit # 130
