Number 1178 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box.
The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red.
This cache is placed in the tiny village of St.Brides.
St Brides (Welsh: Sain Ffraid) is a parish and small coastal village in Pembrokeshire. It lies at the south of St Brides Bay, about one and a half miles north of the larger village of Marloes. St.Brides bay is used by ships waiting to come into the port of Milford Haven. Many can been seen anchored in the bay.
The village lies within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and is on the route of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Buildings include a small Norman parish church and St Bride's Castle, a 19th-century baronial-style country house which later became a sanatorium called Kensington Hospital and has now been converted into holiday accommodation.
The 400 - Puffin Shuttle - St Davids-Marloes bus passes the cache, but this service only runs daily from May to September. (subject to change, check Pembrokeshire Council Website for latest timetable) .
You are looking for a small clip lock box in a camo bag. Parking is available next to the cache and it can be done as a cache and dash.
Cache placed with kind permission from Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority and Marloes and St Brides Community Council.
