It's the 15th Annual funbeach/Half-Canadian Event Weekend, and you're invited!
This year's event highlights the history of early transportation on the Long Beach peninsula, from stagecoaches to the beloved "Clamshell Railroad", ferries and modern day roads.
If you're in town for the Cache Dash Splash weekend of events, September 14-16, 2018, be sure to fuel up before you hit the road with a quick and tasty breakfast buffet at the Chautauqua Lodge Conference Center, our official headquarters for the weekend events! This year, you'll be able to pre-pay for your breakfast with your registration for the event, or pay at the door if you prefer.
Date and Time:
Sunday, September 16 from 7:30 - 9:00 am
Location:
Chautauqua Lodge Event Center, 304 14th St NW, Long Beach, WA
What's Available:
Scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, fruit, juice (for the kids) and coffee.
Why:
It's a long way back to civilization -- fuel up before you hit the road! Don't forget to stop by The Caboose CITO on your way out of town to burn off a few of those calories!
There will be so much to do that weekend, it won't fit on one geocaching page, so be sure to head to the official Cache Dash Splash website for all the details!
Be sure to log your "Will Attend" here before heading over to the Cache Dash Splash website -- you must pre-register there to help us get ready for the big day!
This year there will be five ... count 'em five ... events through the weekend, along with some great optional activities that you can enjoy with your paid registration!
Things kick off with Friday evening (The Dining Car - GC7P2P7), Saturday morning (All Aboard - GC7P336), Saturday evening (Tickets Please! (GC7P33H), Sunday morning (Whistle Stop Breakfast (GC7KCYZ), and a Sunday CITO event (The Caboose - GC7PG6W), and fun bonus stuff and contests planned for the weekend!
