The mouth of the river Curu meets the Atlanctic ocean some 3 km west of Paracurus lighthouse beach.
Today the place is deserted. The restaurant is torn down and according to locals, there will never be a new construction.
What is left are some fishing boats on the bank of the river and a deserted beach with a wonderful view.
Most of the time you are alone and there is no lifeguard on duty. So beware of the tide and currents if you want to put your toes in the water.
You dont need that for finding the cache.
My lazy aproach with a small motorcycle was off the "Paracuru-Paraipaba-Highway", just at the Paracuru City Limits sign. The cobblestone road brings you very close to the spot.
For beachwalkers, it might be an idea to follow the coastline from Paracuru at low tide. It will be a 4km walk on the beach
I never tried that and there are some rocks on the base of some of the houses.
Check the local tide!
