The Whittlesey Walk is a 5 mile circular walk published by Cambridgeshire County Council. A leaflet for the walk can be downloaded from https://www.visitcambridge.org/dbimgs/WhittleseyWalk.pdf.

As well as containing the caches in the Whittlesey Walk series, the route passes by several other caches along the way. They are all listed in this bookmark list. The car park identified in the waypoints for this cache is an ideal starting point for this circular walk, which should take about 2 hours.
Following grassy droves this route takes you on a walk through the history of this evocative part of the countryside, where you will see medieval and modern industry tempered by nature to produce a distinctive and attractive fenland landscape.
Please note: some parts of the route can be a little muddy after rain, so use appropriate footwear! The route can be followed by mountain bike and the terrain is not particularly arduous.
