Twentse landschap
Het Twentse landschap is adembenemend mooi. Van uniek natuurgebied tot uitgestrekt veengebied. Terug in de tijd; ooit wandelden hier de mammoet, de wolharige neushoorn en het laatste reuzenhert. Sterker nog, ooit was dit gebied zee, getuige de walvis- en haaientanden die af en toe nog gevonden worden. Nu is het unieke Twentse land een bonte verzameling van bijzondere landschapselementen. Zin in bos, heide, weide, beekjes en bronnen? Twente heeft het allemaal!
The Twente landscape is breathtakingly beautiful. From unique nature reserve to extensive peat areas. Back in time; the mammoth, the woolly rhinoceros and the last giant deer even walked here. In fact, once this area was sea, witness the whale and shark teeth that are still found here today. Now the unique Twente country is a colorful collection of special landscape elements. Forest, heath, meadow, streams and springs. Twente has it all!

Trevi fontein
De Trevi fontein werd gebouwd op het gelijknamige Piazza di Trevi in opdracht van Paus Clemens XII.
Het eerste ontwerp werd gemaakt door Bernini en is uitgegroeid tot de populairste, grootste en bekendste fontein van Rome.
Wie ooit terug wil keren naar deze wereldstad doet er goed aan een bezoek te brengen aan deze fontein.
Er wordt gezegd dat als je over je schouder een munt in de fontein gooit, je Rome nog een keer zal bezoeken.
Je kunt je voorstellen dat als iedereen die Rome bezoekt een munt in de Trevi fontein gooit, er misschien wel meer munten dan water in de fontein zal zijn.
Het is dan ook maar goed dat wekelijks de munten uit de fontein worden gehaald.
Deze munten worden gebruikt voor een goed doel hiermee kunnen arme gezinnen worden geholpen. (bron: Wikipedia)

Trevi fountain
The Trevi fountain was built on the eponymous Piazza di Trevi by order of Pope Clement XII.
The first design was made by Bernini and has become the most popular, largest and most famous fountain in Rome.
Anyone who wants to return to this metropolis would do well to visit this fountain.
It is said that if you throw a coin in the fountain over your shoulder, you will visit Rome again.
You can imagine that if everyone who visits Rome throws a coin in the Trevi fountain, there might be more coins than water in the fountain.
It is therefore good that the coins are taken out of the fountain every week.
