Le château de Bayon a été construit au 19ème siècle pour Mme Gauthier qui voulait le plus beau château de la région. Elle visita les nombreux châteaux de la Loire et fut particulièrement séduite par celui de Blois. C’est à l’issue de ce pèlerinage en Loire que fut entreprise la construction de l’actuel château de Bayon, toujours propriété privée et qu'on ne peut pas visiter ….

The castle of Bayon has been built in the XIX century for Miss Gauthier who wanted the most beautiful castle of Lorraine. She visited many castles of the Loire and was especially attracted by the one of Blois. It’s after this pilgrimage in Loire that began the building of the current castle of Bayon, which remains a private property that we can not visit….
