This is a memorial cache for hikerguy1's Into the Woods and Boulder City caches.
As some of you know, the original cache owner, John Marcelina, known as hikerguy1 on geocaching.com, passed away. Hikerguy1 had 4 caches in Rockefeller State Park. This memorial cache commemorates 2 of them, using the original container and log book from Boulder City and moving near the location where searchers headed Into the Woods.
Boulder City Cache was originally hidden on June 14, 2007 and had 59 finds in the 10.5 years it was in place. Into the Woods was originally hidden on January 18, 2007 and had 113 finds in the 11 years it was in place. The new location is a short distance into the woods by a boulder. Cache is a Lock-n-Lock container with the usual trinkets inside.
