Welcome to The Wilderness Center! This is one of five trails on the property. This cache is being released to coincide with The Wilderness Center’s annual winter Geocaching event, Six More Weeks of Winter – 2018. Although not part of the event, this geocache, plus several others, will be available to find at the conclusion of the event. When you come to visit, please note that The Wilderness Center’s Interpretive Building is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm, plus limited seasonal hours on Sundays. The trails however, are open from dawn to dusk, so if you think your visit may extend past 5pm, be sure to park in the lower parking area by the road, as the upper gate gets locked after 5pm. No night caching is allowed, except for the evening of our annual winter event, FEB. 3rd 2018. The grounds are patrolled by the Stark County Sherrif’s deputies and local police for your security. Be careful during the winter months as these trails get very slippery – cache at your own risk. This should be a pretty easy find. May be some bush wacking at times but not to bad.
