Middle Road turning into Locust Street spans 20 miles, beginning in northeast Bettendorf and ending in west Davenport. It is a major thoroughfare for traffic in Scott County.
This is a FTF Power Trail, beginning at the start of Middle Road. A "Power Trail" is a series of at least 50 geocaches within close proximity. A "FTF Power Trail" means that if you are the "first to find" (i.e. the 'FTF') of a cache in this series, PLEASE 'pay it forward' by placing the next cache along this trail within two weeks of getting the FTF. Keep in mind that some areas will be higher muggle traffic than others, so you may have to be creative in your hides.
My eight-year-old and I have been passing the winter playing Zelda – Breath of the Wild on the Wii U. We’d really like to come up with a related puzzle but are having some trouble. Our latest idea involves making a fire in the playground of his school, sitting until morning, shooting the windows with bomb arrows, then paragliding from the top of the slide into the school, taking down the Hinox aka principal with shock arrows, then getting the coordinates to the final from an orb on her necklace.
We have a lot of logistics to work out still, so for now I’m just placing another traditional cache. Enjoy!
