Geocache Description:


Fulbourne railway station was opened in about August 1852 (when it first appeared in timetables such as Bradshaw) as a station on the Newmarket Railway. It closed to passengers on 2 January 1967. Unlike the village (Fulbourn) the name of the station used a different spelling (Fulbourne), as you can see in one of the images below.
