An event to promote the 10th Anniversary UK Mega which this year is being held at Newby Hall on the 4th August (YM8MNO) Batty Moss Viaduct known locally as Ribblehead Viaduct, one of Yorkshire's finest, a feature that can be seen for miles, now captured for ever on a set of geocoins specially commissioned for the Yorkshire Mega 2018. This short meet n greet event is to be held in the Station Inn for about an hour to enable people to meet the team, fundraise and of course - purchase some purple goods - Not to mention the Geocoins featuring the viaduct. Afterwards take a stroll down the pushchair friendly track to check out the Viaduct in the shadow of Whernside, one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Time - 1200 - 1330 approximately. The pub is both dog and child friendly, parking is available opposite, or further down the road. wild camping available on the common ground at the back, and motorhome parking at the back of the pub - all free of charge provided the pub facilities are taken advantage of! If possible we would really appreciate any raffle donations. Please do not take cars down the track at the request of the National Park, it's only an access road.
