Morihei Ueshiba (called Ōsensei by his followers; Japanese for "Great Teacher") is the founder of Aikido, the martial art of peace, and this cache is placed here during the month of his birth in remembrance of the gift he left the world (his birthday is 14 December 1883).
This is a great cache for kids and those with travel bugs or other large items to trade. Its proximity to the freeway makes it a great cache for those passing through.
