It's a very special place for us both, despite us not living in the area. I do, in fact, herald from this neck of the woods. As a youngster, I was an active member in the church. We had a youth club known as The Coffee Shop (long before Costa et al we're all the rage!) We also had a very active youth music group, singing & playing a number of instruments between us. We did regular performances in the family services, as well as, special evening recitals. We did an eclectic mix of traditional & modern hymns/faith based music. Also in 1999, we were also married here!
An interesting fact:- Back in the 1950s local people contributed a shilling a week to pay for the bricks to build St Mary Magdalene Church
This cache can be done as a cache & dash. It's a simple magnetic nano cache in an easy spot. Difficult is at 1.5 because it's a high muggle area so stealth is required! Be aware that there is a school on the square too, so it will be busy at the beginning & end of the school day....actually make that chaotic!!!
