Christian Kongawi - CANADA150 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

onecrazycanadian: Hi,

The low health score on this cache has remained below 60 since our last contact. I see no sign of any maintenance being done to correct this and I have had no response from the owner since my last contact. Due to the lack of response I have no idea if any corrective action has been taken. Consequently I am archiving the cache at this time. If the owner does happen to complete the maintenance required and wish to activate the cache again just let me know and I will consider unarchiving it once the issue is resolved.

Thanks

CHRISTIAN KONGAWI – CANADA150

*Please BYOP* You are looking for a black bison tube

A Saskatchewan resident who was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Christian Kongawi is a percussionist and a humanitarian worker who is very engaged in the country of his birth.

The artist has worked on projects with many other Saskatchewan musicians, including the Fransaskois Alexis Normand and the group The Rebellion. In 2013, he received the prestigious Evans Drumhead scholarship which allowed him to work on improving his art. He then studied drumming in Hollywood.

In addition to his work as a musician, Christian Kongawi has dedicated himself to another project dear to his heart: education in his native Congo. He has carried out many fundraising activities in Saskatchewan to build and renovate schools in Congo. The lack of educational opportunities was one of the reasons he moved to Canada and he wants to provide a better life for those who do not have such an opportunity.
