L'ultima roggia a Milano - Roggia delle Lavandai

A poche centinaia di metri dalla Darsena è presente la roggia dei Lavandai, o roggia Boniforte, l'ultima, tra quelle di rilievo, ancora attive a Milano.

Scorre in via Argelati, la prima traversa della ripa di Porta Ticinese, un tempo gremita di lavatoi, e dava acqua anche ai Bagni Ticino, una sorta di risposta popolare ai lussuosi Bagni di Diana di Porta Venezia.
Sempre vicinissime alla Darsena ci sono altre due roggette che fanno parte del colore milanese: la prima corre lungo i muri delle case di via Magolfa ed è situata in sponda destra. L'altra, una delle pochissime dell'alzaia in sponda sinistra, il ruscello del vicolo dei Lavandai, con la tettoia immortalata in tante foto e dipinti, e i brelin, i lavatoi in pietra.
Nel vicolo dei Lavandai è presente una bellissima cache di Gigioll assolutamente da non perdere !

The last little rush - Roggia dei Lavandai

Just a few hundred yards from the Darsena there is the rush of the Lavandai, or Boniforte rocks, the last, among the outstanding, still active in Milan.

Flows through Argelati, the first stretch of Porta Ticinese, a time full of washing, and gave water to the "Bagni Ticino", a kind of popular response to the luxurious "Bagni di Diana of Porta Venezia".
Along the Darsena there are two other roviners that are part of the Milanese color: the first runs along the walls of the houses of Via Magolfa and is located on the right bank. The other, one of the very few on the left bank, the creek of the alley of the Lavandai, with the shed immortalized in many pictures and paintings, and brelin, the stone washers.
In the alley of Lavandai there is a beautiful cache of Gigioll absolutely not to be missed!
