Traditional Nonograms:
The rules are simple. You have a grid of cells, some of which must be filled in black. Beside each row of the grid are listed the lengths of each run of consecutive black cells in that row, in order. The number of blank cells between them (at least one) or at each end are NOT specified. Similarly, the numbers above each column show the lengths of the runs of black cells in that column when solved. Your aim is to fill in the grid with black cells. They often form a recognizable picture. Sometimes not.

And now...
Here is a variant of the nonogram that you are sure to love. In the puzzle grid below, the numbers have been replaced by letters, adding a little bit more challenge. There are nine letters, corresponding to the numbers 1-9. (There are no two-digit numbers in this puzzle). No two letters represent the same number. To find the coordinates you must perform three steps:
Step (1): Determine the numerical values represented by the letters and translate to the grid. There is enough information in the distribution of the letters -- and the following constraint -- to determine the conversion without having to attempt Step 2.
Constraint: (NIGHTMARE + 440) is a multiple of the number of filled in cells when completed.
Step (2): Solve the resultant nonogram
Step (3): Interpret the result to determine the final coordinates
