Welcome to Tway, a small Saskatchewan hamlet of Francophone origin.
The name of the village seems to have come from the name of the first postmaster in the region, François Touet. As the story goes, the name Touet was transcribed incorrectly when the name of the hamlet was chosen and it accidentally became Tway.
In addition to the Francophones, many families came from Ukraine.
Today, there are only about ten people living in Tway. The hamlet is part of the municipality of Invergrodon.

Bienvenue à Tway, petit hameau d’origine francophone de la Saskatchewan.
L’origine du nom du village viendrait de François Touet, premier maître de poste dans la région. L’histoire veut que le nom Touet aurait été mal transcrit au moment de choisir le nom du hameau, qui est donc devenu Tway par accident.
Outre des francophones, de nombreuses familles étaient originaires de l’Ukraine.
Aujourd’hui, il ne reste qu’une dizaine de personnes résidant à Tway. Le hameau fait partie de la municipalité de Invergrodon.
