These challenge caches may favour those who have been caching for some years, or simply those who enjoy seeking out older hides. Each challenge requires you to find a minimum number of caches in each month of the year highlighted in the challenge; the number of caches required relates to the year in question. For year 2001 you will need to have found a minimum of one cache in each month. For year 2002 you will need to have found a minimum of two caches in each month, and so on, until year 2012 when you will need to have found a minimum of twelve caches in each month.
