It's Time To Party!!
GeocachingNSW would like to extend an invitation to all geocachers to come along to our Christmas Party at Angle Park. Join us for some fun and socializing to celebrate another year (almost) of great geocaching fun.
The event will be held at Angle Park, Chipping Norton on Sunday, 3rd December, 2017, commencing at 11am and concluding around 3pm.
The park includes covered seating, open grass space, trees for shade, a kids playground, ample parking and a toilet block. Free BBQs are available, though not in the best condition. A member of the committee will be arriving early to hopefully secure a spot but please bring picnic blankets, chairs, cookers and shelter if you like. Ensure you bring a hat and sunscreen as well as your picnic items. The area is close to water - not the best for swimming, but great for launching of water craft, e.g. for those looking for the nearby Splash 'n' Cache series. Please BYO all your food and drink requirements for the day.
New geocachers are most welcome to attend as it’s a great way to meet the local geocaching community and pick up some tips on any aspect of the game. Don’t forget you can swap travel bugs and geocoins at the event. The Association will also have a number of geocaching related items for sale.
This event is open to all GeocachingNSW members and non-members alike, all are welcome! Come and learn what the Association does and have a great time meeting like-minded folk.
As usual we will be announcing the "Geocache of the Year" results during the event. You can vote on the day in person or click on the image below to add your vote to the GOTY competition right now!
