Geocache Description:

So there’s a bend in the ACT border here, how exciting can it be? Well, I thought it was exciting, when I spied one of the original ACT border markers here! It was placed over 100 years ago by the original surveyors of the ACT! Always nice to find something as old as the Capital itself! Mind you, beats me why they decided to change direction at this particular spot. I guess it is at the "top" of the hill, and the views are very nice.

The marker is a 20cm x 20cm short wooden post, with triangular top. It’s condition is not great, so don’t touch the marker itself (the cache is not there).

If you find this cache, and are interesting in seeing more of these markers – try my “Border Bash” cache, and you will find a whole lot more! - Oh, and for those seeking altitude - this ones at almost 900m!
