Nikrmana: ### Geocache Owner Action Needed ###

A cache owner should respond to maintenance request in a timely manner or accompany the disable/maintenance request log with the write note log, which will indicate when the cache could and will be maintained. If things do not work out for planned maintenance date and there are some unusual circumstances, the cache owner should post a pertinent note approximately every 30 days, which will indicate that the cache is not abandoned.

This is for each cache with a maintenance requests that will take longer time,

What to do next?

  1. Post pertinent information with the 'Write Note' log type asap.
If you're encountering unusual circumstances for ongoing issues, post a note every 30 days so the listing doesn't appear abandoned
  2. Visit the container and provide maintenance as needed.
  3. Update the posted coordinates (if necessary) making sure they are accurate.
  4. Confirm the geocache's trackable inventory.
  5. After the geocache is up to the standard, then post an Owner Maintenance log.
  6. Lastly, enable your geocache.

If you don't want to maintain the geocache any longer, you can:

  • Find someone to take ownership of your geocache. You'll need to adopt the listing to them.
  • You can archive the listing. This re opens the area for new geocaches. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your geocache.

If no intervention from the CO is evident within 30 days, the listing might fall into archival status.

Thanks for providing quality geocaching.

Geocache Description:

Kajkavian Language Statue

/

Skulptura Kajkavskog Jezika

The statue is currently under maintenance it will probably be relocated. In the meantime, feel free to log if you find the stone pole!

Kajkavian is central European and Slavic language used for over thousand years. It is more similar to modern Slovenian than to the modern Croatian Language. Its phonetic and grammatical structure makes it similar to modern Slovakian and its large use of hypocoristics reminds of Russian. Kajkavian language and culture have preserved Proto-Slavic elements which are missing from other languages so it makes it important not only for Croatian culture diversity but the European as well and maybe even wider.

Kajkavian Literary Language is internationally recognized in 2015. Its language ISO 639-3 code is kjv and there is a lot of books written in it from the 16th to the 19th century in National Libraries of Central Europe. This statue is initiated by the group of local citizens and made by the artist Željko Prstec.
